About the Role - Year 5 Teacher

This is a full-time position for a passionate Year 5 Teacher who is ready to take on full class responsibilities. You'll be delivering high-quality teaching to a confident, curious, and engaged group of Year 5 learners. The school provides excellent support and a collaborative environment where teaching staff work closely together to deliver an exciting curriculum.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across all core and foundation subjects
Tracking and assessing pupil progress in line with national expectations
Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
Working in partnership with a parallel Year 5 Teacher to share resources and ideas
Supporting pupils' academic, emotional, and social development

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and confident Year 5 Teacher who enjoys being part of a team and is passionate about KS2 learning.

The Ideal Year 5 Teacher Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 5)
Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks
Excellent behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
A reflective approach to teaching and a genuine enthusiasm for learning
A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
